How can we controll such a powerfull tool ? Cutting it off would only mean youd have to communicate some other way. The tounge, a figure of speach!
Any form of communication should be done to eddify and lift, not trodden and cast heavy burdens on others.
Has anyone ever tried a word fast?
I did it for 3 days and it is quite an experiance!

I know that the most powerful tool we have been blessed with is Faith and yes, the second is the tounge, untill you have the Wisdom to learn controll over the tounge

I am 50 years old, male and have tried my entire life to do good.

I have always tried to make my own way, support my own family and try not to do things that hurt other people.

I can honestly, truthfully say, I have failed miserable at doing good. I have done terrible things, not to intentionally hurt anyone but, I know in my heart it has caused some pain likely bad pain in some instances from the things I have done and said along the road of life. I have never meant to go so far as to lie and steal but have many times, to many to count.

I am ready to start new in 2010 and I hope to maybe have some friends to join me on the way? I am not to good as a loner but have been one for the most part all my life.

speaking from experiance, addiction comes in many catagorys and most are labled as something other than addiction or habituation, Some habbits can be good but addictions are those things that one becomes tired and grieved over the inability to refrain from their daily grind and it is likely causing problems with those closest to them.

There are some very good habits and some very bad ones as well.

Some addictions seem like a simple part of life but anything that controls your daily thought patterns, your day must be planned according to the addiction and there are no valid reasons to continue doing the addiction.

How can our government try to get us, intelligent people, to believe that a naturally grown plant that has been used for thousands and thousands of years , without any documented instances of fatalitys, nor is there any scientific evidence that organically grown marijuana is bad for a person to consume. Oh, Read the caution statements on any RX drug, adverse reactions, pre-cautions all the warnings that come with them is enough to convince me that something that has been used safely for thousands of years without any documented adverse reactions, no major warnings, (common sense only, anything can be abused) but safer than asprin, safer than cold meds, way way way safer than vicodins, alcohol, percodans, all those freely prescribed, extremely dangerous, addictive drugs that most doctors have a duty to prescribe.

I wish some very honest doctors would make some comments on the medical facts of marijuana compared to rx drugs.                                                                                    It's hard to fathom that if marijuana is as good as, all these hundreds of thousands of people claim that it is, that our government would not do scientific investigation, tests, lab work, something to see what all these people are swearing by, get to the truth, so to speak! Ok, if it is as good as people claim, will the government allow it to be grown at home or, will it be treated as tobaco or alcohol ?  Will the government put a monopoly on it ? That will be very hard to do because it will not set well with all these people who use it for medicinal purposes and these are normal, everyday people who vote.

I never could understand how the laws differ so much from country to country and even though the USA proclaims the land of the free, well not exactly. So lets get this on the table and stimulate one another to love and good deeds!

Actually the facts are quite clear! Marijuana has been used legitamately as a medicine for thousands of years! Check the facts? Ok, The fact is, I use medical marijuana, recomended and prescribed by my licensed, legitamate doctor for Neuropathy, Fybromyalgia, Degenerative disk disease and other personal health issues. I could not take the other stuff that our government , not doctors but government officials, the DEA, the good ol boys would have me take because it was eating my liver away! Seems like my doctor should have told me the bad side effects from the prescription pain medications he prescribed me would have a very bad outcome on my health. I think that maybe he just did not know that marijuana would safely replace all the bad pain medications he gave me, or he would have recomended I use medical marijuana instead of the vicodin and loritabs, the large array of pills, all of which carry adverse and sometimes fatal side effects. Oh, have you heard that marijuana has no known adverse side effects and it is safer than other prescribed medicines because it is natural and man has not finger, f--ed it and made it more harmful than good. Look around and see the suffering from all the hydrocodone use. Maybe you need to read more from reliable truth telling people, not the DEA. The are not authoritys on medicine and they have alterior motives when busting these big drug dealers, Assets, Cash, Boats and Cars, but guess what, most medical marijuana patients are poor and disabled so you think the dea should be wasteing valuable resources on taking patients away to jail, destroying lives and familys and reputations, they are not doing justice when they arrest innocent people for doing what their doctor feels is what will help the patients medical issue.

I have said enough and so I hope to hear back from you soon. I have to try to come up with a truck or 125 dollars to rent a uhaul to move our 2bd rm apt to a duplex accross town.

our bill this last month was 105.00 because we ran the air most of the month. Sacramento california is where I live and it's pretty hot here most of the summer months so we use the airconditioners quite a bit.

I also have an indoor garden and use 12- 40 watt flouresents and a 400 watt hps also and our bill is high because of that otherwise, our bill would be below $50.00 a month so you must live somewhere that has extremely high energy costs, heating oil?

What is it that cost you so much money?

We have PG & E for Gas, our heat and stove and oven are gas. Our electricity is from SMUD, Sacramento Municipal Utilities District. We have 2 seperate bills. One from Smud and one from PG & E. Our gas bill is always under $25.00 per month but it's still a lot cheaper than yours

It is Sad, very sad indeed that people have to ask people they don't even know to help them with money. Do you have any clue how dificult it is to ask someone you don't know for money. I am afraid you may be judging yourself very harshly lady6's

What if something were to happen to you, since you are raising your grandkids it sounds like the parents could not do it, No sarcastic remarks intended, maybe it was something bad but regaurdless, you say you are raising your grandkids and have many bills to pay apparently. If you did not take care of the grandkids , who would? What if they had to ask for assistance or for, "cash" from a perfect stranger, would you feel the same way if it were one of them asking for cash? I think you are a very warm and generous person and I hope you are not sore at me for this, I felt you deserve to know some truths about GOD because it is through HIS Grace you are able to take care of your Grandchildren. And You are a very special kind of person, very loveing and nurtureing, you must be to raise your grandchildren.

I raise two of my grandchildren right now also. Two wonderfull, full of energy boys. ages 5 and 8 , cousins and if you have boys you know it is a handfull to keep them from fighting and ,l well you have grandkids so you know as I know, it is difficult. If I did not do what I do on the side by growing medicinal plants for legitamate patients then I could not feed my family. I hope you will understand why some people ask for help, they have no where else to turn. Yes, some are bad, very bad but dont toss the whole bunch away because of a few bad ones. If GOD judged us in this same way we would all perish because there are a lot of bad amongst us but the ones who are good, like you and I hope myself and those we love and the good people here on this site, we do not want any to perish do we, because we are all are part of one big body and GOD is the head. Each of us are needed for GOD's purpose, not our own. We do not have good enough reasoning by our own selfs to run such a body, do we?

Let us all love one another and provoke one another to love and good deeds, so that we can all recieve the blessings we are in need of even those needs we don't know about yet!

HE knows what we need and do not need so, if HE pulls on your heart strings, do what you will and we all pray that it is what GOD wills as well.

I know how you can make money, at home spending a few minutes per day gardening, either indoors or outdoors, or maybe both! If you have been looking for a legitamate way to make additional money to meet your needs or if you just want to have some extra money in your pocket, this is an affordable and extremely easy way to make it!

Medicinal marijuana is now legal in some states. Check to see if it is legal in your state and county. Each county and state have their own limits on what you are allowed. You must check the laws in your own area to make sure you do not break the laws, this is legitamate and it is for people who have a recomendation to use this medicinal plant for many differnt ailements! You can be a caregiver for these patients and grow their medicinal marijuana for them. Just think about it for a moment. Most of these patients are very sick. Some with terminal death sentences like cancers and some with non life threating illness like fybromyalgia which has some extremely painfull effects all over the body. No medicine has ever worked for fybromyalgia pain but one new drug the FDA has just recently approved but it has Horrifying side effects that can be a lot worse than the illness it's self. Medicinal marijuana not only works extremely well for fybromyalgia pain but it also helps reduce swelling and eases the burning and relieves the itching. also great for neuropathy which also has severe pain. burning pain is untolerable and is considered to be the worse pain known to man that I am aware of! Medicinal marijuana relieves that burning pain and it also relaxes and makes you feel good. Now you tell me after you have thought about that, is it worth growing some for a legitamate patient who can not grow it themselves for whatever reason ?  You will be compensated directly from the patient and someone who is in severe pain usually will compensate you very well for some good medicine.

So if you live in a state and county where it is legal to grow for someone else and you are in need of extra money, it takes about 4 months for the first grow to finish, dried and cured and then you get fully compensated at the time it is picked up. It never leaves your posetion untill you are happy with your compensation.

Usually it is about $2,000 for ever dried cured and packaged pound. 1 plant grown outdoors can produce a pound of product so if you grow the limit for someone, about 6 mature plants, you can be compensated up to about $12,000 extra money per growing season. Indoors can be set up to grow turnkey every 5 to 8 weeks you would get a harvest. Outdoors you get one big harvest, probably more than indoors. You can grow for more than one person so think about that as well.

Pay off your morgage in just a few years of helping some very ill people.

where do you live ? Our entire utility bill, electricity, gas. water, sewer, ad garbage all together for a 2 bd rm with 4 adults and 2 kids is only $125.00 per month during the early summer months and it goes up to around $175.00 per month in the hottest months because we run 2 air conditioners in order to keep it liveable in our apartment.

Please, tell us what county and state you live in because I will attempt to get you some real relief from your electric bill.

If you have not found your funding yet you can likely get a grant from grant gate. I have it and it has every available grant from the government and it has thousands of private companys and organizations that give grants to people for differnt purposes.

My wife, grandson and myself are praying for an extra $500.00 before the end of this month. We are trying to move to a safer neighborhood and into a duplex with a back yard for our grandson to play in. Right now we are living in one of the worse areas of sacramento and our grandson being only 8 years old is not safe, we don't feel safe and it's like we are stuck here and can't get out.

We are on SSI due to our health and age so our income is just enough to live on and we still struggle 3 weeks out of the month but we just have to get out of this neighborhood.

Two nights ago there was another gun shot. Just a couple months back their was a gun fight in our parking lot right under our bedroom windows, kids playing outside and broad daylight. Nobody sees anything and the police already know there is rarely a witness. Had it not been for me pointing out a bullet hole in the fence along the driveway they would have just dismissed it as another little incodent in the hood! This is in an area that should be safe and secure. Trussel way between Arden and hurley and watt and morse, 1 block west of watt ave. It is just one street, Trussel way that is the problem area and we happen to live at the worse part of the street, the very end. We have been here going on 5 years and it has steadily gotten worse every year.

If we can come up with $500.00 we can start moving into the duplex on the 20th of this month. We talked to the owner and he wants a deposit before we can move in. We just paid rent here so we cant pay for even partial rent and no deposit untill the 1st of next month. We will then have $1,300.00 from our SSI checks but it will cost us $1700.00 to move in and it will cost about another $100.00 for transfering all our utilitys and phone and for gas to move our things across town.

We would never ask for help but my wife and I are stressed and so tired of the constant worrying and fearing for our grandsons safety. We recently found out that there are three registered sex offenders, child predators living in our neighborhood, even though there are so many kids here.

I am not trying to be mean here but you say you have 4 kids? Where is the father(s) Usually there is mention of the father so I had to ask.

Have you tried public aid? You can get a one time assistance to get into a home. They will pay the first month and deposit and with you having 4 children you also qualify for child action so someone can watch your children while you work, when you get better that is and that really should be a priority so you can take care of your kids.

I understand how hard it can be and I do feel for you I just can't help to wonder where the father is when you are in such a drastic need for your children?
